How It All Started

Ten years ago, I was deeply entrenched in work that had me glued to a chair for twelve-plus hours a day. Under pressure, I often nuked a veggie burger in the microwave and ate it right out of the cellophane wrapper, like a little food pellet. After work, I cooked nourishing meals to unwind. Chopping colorful produce revitalized me, and leftovers were especially appreciated the next day. I made more elaborate fare on the weekends and hosted fun dinner parties for my friends. Little Pink Kitchen evolved from these rituals and the conviction that busy people need satisfying food to fuel them during the day and beautiful food to enjoy at night. The time spent cooking, shopping, and cleaning could be better used engaging with loved ones.

I modeled the icons on my website after the shiny knobs on my vintage Chambers range, which still sits in my little pink kitchen at home and sparks endless inspirations. I work in a big stainless-steel kitchen now, but cooking from scratch with love and attention for the people I care about is where this all started. My dedicated staff and I believe that busy people deserve quick and delicious food that doesn’t come from a can, carton, or wrapper.
